I’ve had a great couple of months filled with narrative things. Our Special Issue is finally out, and last month I hosted Narrative 2024 - both the culmination of over a year of work! Grateful for lovely colleagues and friends amidst uncertainty and change https://t.co/ucLeQbQCJ4

We survived a shelter-in-place, celebrated the inimitable Hortense Spillers, and witnessed an epic dance off between @yonina and Brian McHale. Thank you, my narrative friends! Onward to Newcastle in 2024 with @chiarapg4 and Stacy Gillis!
Coming back to Twitter as the most adequate platform to express my feelings of love and excitement about @issn_2022. This is a great way to start conference week:

In an attempt to justify hours of watching tv, I have finally written an article about it. It’s open access, so anyone can witness as I overthink The Time Traveler’s Wife, How I Met your Mother, and Love is Blind. Part narratology, part queer theory, part rant.
My paper on one of my favourite topics (what, where and when are narrators’ bodies?) is finally out in @MeganLWalker89’s Interdisciplinary and Global Perspectives on Intersex
@annaovaska @CMejeur @narrative4sj Sad that I can’t make any of the other sessions as I teach on Tuesdays 😕 Had a great time at the queer narratology session last year so I’m excited to continue the conversation!
