@ericschares And a lot of people still haven't figured out that a LLWS zone should be small than an average LL zone in your local park.
And a pitch in the outside batter's box should be a ball in ANY LL.
@ellgell@Return_Of_RB@LittleLeague I'm a big fan of protect the plate. But it is different on a pitch WELL outside when taking that pitch ties the game in the 9th inning. Take was the right call in that case but he got terrible luck on a terrible call.
@alfonsethespare@shipwreckedcrew Agreed. I know that positioning in the slot is taught as the right way to do it, but I don't get it...at all. No way he can see where that pitch crosses.
@JackLoder_ But also a lot of people assuming this is a standard LL game. It's the LLWS. You can't give pitchers like this a huge strike zone and be fair to the batters.
@mynamelangdon@TigersJUK Umm, who drew that white box on there?? It reaches to the outside batter's box and up to the batter's helmet! That is NOT a strike zone.
@ChefGruel Also forgot the cost of the home to serve the meal in and the cost of the car to get to the grocery store. Can't serve this meal unless you pay like $350,000.
@parry_troy@espn If your argument is "kids are tiny" that's an argument for a bigger zone up and down. But it's also an argument for LESS width outside off the plate (batter can't reach it).
@papa_gardner11 I don't think major league pitching is so much the issue. One of the benefits of slap hitting is it works vs. all kinds of pitching. But I do think MLB caliber infield defense is likely a problem.
@DeAngelisCorey It's funny, because a lot of conservatives still won't shop Target because of their past ideology choices. And now the left is boycotting because they aren't woke enough.
Once a company goes down the woke road, they can never go back. The woke mob won't let them
