@bechillcomedian I also repaired the flush function on a few toilets over the years with a pair of pliers and part of an old wire coat hanger, so zero cost, and about five minutes labour.

@bechillcomedian I fixed my washing machine - £11 and 20 minutes instead of an exorbitantly high call out fee or potentially a new washer.

My epilator stopped working, so I YouTubed a tutorial and fixed it for the cost of a new bit set for the tiny screwdriver bit. (About 8 quid from Screwfix)

@rolsontools - I bought this from Asda tonight (£12 - same price as a kit 3x as big) and I'm not impressed - I've never had a ratchet handle have such a flimsy grip on an extension bar. I'd take it back for an exchange, but this was the last one.
