⚠️ A Sheffield man has praised Andy Burnham's new Google Maps fuel price feature after managing to save a whopping £1.60 on a tank of petrol! 😲
33 year old Phillip Patel spotted a petrol station selling fuel 4p a litre cheaper than his local garage and immediately made the 3 mile journey to fill up his tank!
After completing the 6 mile round trip, the delighted motorist worked out that he'd spent 95p on petrol getting there and back, leaving him with a net saving of 65p! 🥂
To celebrate his newfound wealth, Phil treated himself to a Freddo bar. A luxury purchase he admits he probably wouldn't have made had it not been for the Fuel Map.
@andyburnham And what about those of us who’ve had to rent all our lives because there’s nothing left to save??? @andyburnham. I’m too old now to get a mortgage and paying unbelievable rent
Holiday Options
Stay at home and do some DIY, err no, you can’t risk adding to the value of your home.
Take a holiday in the U.K., err no, we now have a tourist tax
How about going abroad? err no, our Air Traffic control system has other ideas 🤦🏻♀️
One of the all-time great Rock Hall moments: Dolly’s “Jolene” with Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Pat Benatar, Annie Lennox, Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran), Pink, and Sheryl Crow. Zac Brown Band held it down as the house band.
Rest easy, Dolly 🤘
@andrewpierceexc@andyburnham this is utterly utterly disgraceful and sb insult to the people of this county who’ve toiled all of their lives to support the UK
Shame on all of you!
TV broadcaster Rylan Clark has hit the nail on the head about illegal migration into Britain.
“I believe something major needs to be done about this […] we have no idea who they are [migrants].”
The tide is turning. Ordinary people are becoming aware and want to see action.
@Keir_Starmer Look to Denmark and Sweden!! They have strong action plans to integrate or return non westerners back to their own country!! This is the only way to manage this now!! We cannot afford to keep paying our taxes to cover this cost!
Dear Tennis Gods,
If you can hear me, I'm not asking for much, just that you make today's Wimbledon Final between Alcaraz and Sinner another magical, five-set, instant classic.
