THE CONSTANTLY-REMINDING MOVEMENT NO 6
the perfect antidote to social-distancing and self-isolating
Living life fully means coming to terms with my mortality. One day I will die. If I live today well, loving and being loved, forgiving and being forgiven, I am ready for that day
@AndyBarclayWatt@LifeChurchMcr Really kind of you, Andy, to be so encouraging about my contribution. It's a privilege to take part. This will be the longest period in my life without a preaching gig. How I miss it. But God is good and I'm grateful.
THE CONSTANTLY-REMINDING MOVEMENT NO 6
the perfect antidote to social-distancing and self-isolating
What we're being asked to do is a minor inconvenience. Millions of people would love to have a home they could retreat to. Today I'll pray for them and give all I can to them
HOPE 15.13
An excellent initiative encouraging and equipping churches and individuals to engage with and serve their communities. Coming from the perspective of faith in a God of infinite love, we have a unique opportunity to bring hope to our neighbours.

THE CONSTANTLY-REMINDING MOVEMENT NO 5
the perfect antidote to social-distancing and self-isolating
BEING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN DOING.
Who I am becoming is more important than anything I can achieve.
This strange time gives us an opportunity to learn this as never before
THE CONSTANTLY-REMINDING MOVEMENT NO 4
the perfect antidote to social-distancing and self-isolating
Thank God for the NHS. In 2012 they dealt with my prostate cancer. 8 years on I'm well. Now they deal with a larger crisis. As I know, treatment ain't fun, but it'll be worth it
@NaomiHi182 I don't know why that conversation is quite so funny. But I genuinely can't stop laughing every time I think of it. BIG thanks for sharing it. Let us all know if you have any more conversations like it.
@NaomiHi182 That's made me laugh. Boat horn noises, indeed! Mind you I've known one or two not very good euphonium players who's playing would have merited that description.
THE CONSTANTLY-REMINDING MOVEMENT - NO 3
the perfect antidote to social-distancing and self-isolating
Saw this magnificent magnolia tree in a neighbour's garden.
I was reminded what a beautiful and fragile world this is. God, help us to take better care of it and of each other.
THE CONSTANTLY REMINDING MOVEMENT - NO 2
the perfect antidote to social-distancing and self-isolating
Today I'm reminding myself that all the stuff I've piously preached to people for the last 50 years about living a day at a time is really true. And I'm grateful for that truth.
Constantly-reminding: we've got social-distancing and self-isolating. I'm starting a constantly-reminding movement: things of which we need to constantly remind ourselves.
No 1: Today is a gift, tomorrow doesn't exist yet. My first thought should be gratitude.
Got a feeling when we come thro' this, we'll divide our lives into two distinct parts - before the virus and after the virus. Hopefully we'll learn to panic less, pray more, and be kinder to each other than we've been. If so, then good will have come out of the next 12 weeks
