@preddyk2 To be fair, residents of the municipality of the Crowsnest Pass (5 towns) were allowed to vote, not just Blairmore. That said, I own a house in Blairmore and I was not allowed to vote, as it’s not my primary residence. I pay taxes (lots!) in the Pass but could not vote.

And the mine site isn't even in the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass. It's in Ranchlands MD, next door. And they didn't get to vote. But their councillors voted unanimously AGAINST the mine in council.
