Alkasura was a key King’s Road boutique alongside Granny Takes a Trip, supplying many of the era’s most iconic rock star outfits.

Produced by Tony Visconti, “The Groover” delivered T. Rex’s signature blend of boogie rock, catchy hooks, and Marc Bolan’s playful vocals. The single was released in both standard UK pressings and Dutch export copies (distinguished by “Made in Holland” on the labels) to meet high demand.
