@ChristinaHaas17 @RpsAgainstTrump She has five fingers. Just zoom into the pic and you can count them all. The other fingers look thinner because they are against a light, probably a flash from a camera.
Anyway, here is the same from another angle showing the same people at the approximately same moment.
@chapinthecity A lot of these people are those who didn't have a plan for voting, including first-timers. I saw groups of people getting off buses to go to Merlo.
OTOH, it's inspirng. We've had an orange stain on this country for almost 10 years. I want to see it wiped-out.
@RpsAgainstTrump Whichever moment you choose, it says more about the chooser than it does about anything else. Some of us saw him as unfit for office or as a human since the late 1990s and early 2000s.
@carsruindenver @kingharis@BobFromAccounts@ob_cycler ... and EVs won't reduce energy usage. Moving from ICEs to EVs moves the source from one type to another. This is not even considering non-green energy production sources.
These people think if you have a problem with 17 variables and you solve 1, then the problem goes away.
@dreamsgonenova It's amazing so many young and older people I know who are into sci-fi/ fantasy/ superheros (old and new, Star Wars, Trek, Harry Poter, LOTR, Marvel, etc.) where the bad guys were so explicitly apparent would then vote for bad guys when faced with the choice IRL.
@BobFromAccounts This shows a dreadful lack of concern for other people, especially those using wheelchairs/walkers or parents with strollers.
But the DailyMail. ๐ "I tried to kill someone in front of my very own house and the government won't let me do it."
@fynmere Same thing at Merlo. It was last Sunday at 1PM and the line was half down the block. On Friday, the line at Merlo stretched from the library east along Belmont, then north around the corner up Broadway.
Something is different this time.
@Crash_Barry@USPS If a postal carrier will do this- in flagrant violation of federal laws, then you can safely assume that your mailed ballot may not be safe either.
@bikelakecity When people like that can't face reality, they resort to projection.
They think something is soft about people who use their legs to walk or bike to get around. Yet using almost no personal physical power, froth at the mouth if they have to do a two-block detour in their car.
๐
@Peorhum@jm_mcgrath It's weird almost no driver in the USA understands this too. BUT, these same drivers get upset when ANOTHER driver enters an intersection, illegally stops in it, thereby blocks it, and prevents them from going straight or making a turn.
Cognitive dissonance is a hideous drug.
@YPLAC@TheoHopkins4321 Someone who has a car like that has some unresolved personality and self-esteem issue. So it tracks that they would have a wankpanzer with vanity (or what I call "insanity") plates.
The car and plates are a symptom of the same issue[s].
@whitetailani I love 24-hour time and it's the format for every timekeeper I won.
Ironic that the people who love 12-hour time are always the ones to rarely specify AM or PM when denoting the time for something.
@ob_cycler Trunk or treat? So now they're telling kids to go near a stranger's trunk during Halloween?
"Let's fix this dysfunction, by being even more dysfunction."
@hockeymed@sherwick216@foxyjewishmama Came to write exactly this. This law prohibiting entering and stopping in intersections is explicitly listed in both the Chicago municipal code and the Illinois statutes.
@MeidasTouch So Nicky Jam didn't{ 1) pay attention to Trump's abysmal management of the economy (even exclusive of COVID) during his presidency and; 2) didn't care about all those other ethnic groups Trump directly debased and dehumanized since walking down that escalator in 2016.
