Memorial Ribbon Pickup: Community members who have lost someone due to homicide are invited to stop by Salisbury Police Department Monday, Sept. 20 through Friday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to pick-up a memorial ribbon.

While the verdict in this case does not bring Mr. Floyd back to his family, Derek Chauvin’s conviction is a step in the right direction of providing justice. The conviction sends a message to those officers who do harm that they too can and will be held accountable. (2/3)
