@MrMoo28@MartinSLewis They say you can stop claiming, but you lose out on getting a national insurance # for your kid when they turn 16/18 or similar.
It’s disgusting that the HIBC boundaries haven’t gone up though since it’s inception.
If I was worried about people comparing me to 1930s Germany, my next move probably wouldn't be to shut down all criticism on the national broadcasting service
@MrMoo28@MartinSLewis@itvMLshow We got ours a stocks and shares ISA - 12% rate of return over 3 years. We also use regular savers which tend to have better interest (5% or so). But the normal savings accounts are a bit rubbish for rates.
@AskSmythsToys hi, I placed an order 5th December and Evri are ‘expecting it’ but you still haven’t sent it to them 1 week on. Please can you investigate?
@MartinSLewis Utility Warehouse. Was on a fix at over the new PG. They sent email offering to put me on their ‘double gold variable’ which works out a bit under the PG.
Looking at my bill it looks like they have backdated the variable price for a month or so too.
@ThemeparkRidley Turn on scheduled notifications. I get a bundle of notifications every 1.5-2 hours rather than as they come, except for certain apps. I’ve also muted a load of WhatsApp chats to stop notifications coming through etc.
Let me put this politely: it is not *entirely clear* why the Prime Minister needs to wait for Sue Gray's report to find out if he went to a party in his own garden
Boris Johnson tonight on the BBC "I've given you the most important metric which is, never mind life expectancy, never mind cancer outcomes, look at wage growth."
I beg to differ! Ghastly appalling disregard for our people.
