The SAME PROCESS produced both SUSAN and AGENCY. What is truly laughable is how the process gets NO CREDIT when an MP performs well, yet gets BLAMED for years when one fails to perform. That is nothing but DOUBLE STANDARDS.

Even more troubling is the POOR REASONING that assumes an MP's behaviour, competence, effectiveness, or shortcomings are solely the product of the process that produced them. This ignores the countless factors and variables that shape performance: PERSONAL CHARACTER, WORK ETHIC, EXPERIENCE, LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION, DISCIPLINE, VALUES, INCENTIVES, POLITICAL ENVIRONMENT, RESOURCES, and ACCOUNTABILITY, among many others.

I worry that this level of thinking, especially when coming from our elders, is deeply damaging to Zimbabwe's POLITICAL DISCOURSE and INTELLECTUAL CULTURE. Serious analysis requires nuance, not simplistic conclusions that collapse under the weight of basic scrutiny.
