一度ぶっ壊れてからが人生本番なのは、そこではじめて「自分を壊してまで守っていたもの」が、だいたい大したものじゃなかったと分かるからなんよな。

真面目に働く。親を安心させる。嫌われないように振る舞う。恋人を怒らせない。友達を減らさない。上司に失望されない。ちゃんとした人に見られる。ぶっ壊れる前の人間は、こういうものを人生の中心に置きすぎている。しかも本人は努力しているつもりだから、生活が削れていることに気づかない。睡眠を削る。食事が雑になる。部屋が荒れる。返信が怖くなる。休みの日も回復しない。それでも「まだ頑張れる」と言ってしまう。

一回ぶっ壊れると、この優先順位が全部ひっくり返る。人にどう見られるかより、明日ちゃんと起きられるか。期待に応えるかより、体が動くか。関係を続けるかより、その人と関わった後に自分が何日寝込むか。人生の判断基準が、ようやく現実に戻る。

だから「病む前の自分に戻りたい」は危ない。戻ったらまた同じ生き方をする。必要なのは復帰じゃない。作り直しなんよ。壊れる前の自分を美化しないこと。あの頃の自分は偉かったんじゃない。自分を犠牲にするのが上手すぎただけ。
