The Reality Check Ifeanyi Ejiofor Cannot Escape

Let’s look at the actual receipts from Ifeanyi Ejiofor’s own social media history, because his current claim of "stepping down in 2023" completely contradicts everything he posted online at the time.

When the Kanu family issued a public notice stating his services were no longer required, Ejiofor didn’t pack his bags and say he was done. Instead, he took to his Facebook and X accounts to aggressively fight the dismissal.

He told the public that the family lacked the authority to sack him and insisted that he was still the active lawyer representing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu based on his 2015 engagement. He held onto that position tightly, continuing to give press updates and represent himself as part of the legal umbrella well into late 2024.

So, let's ask a very basic question: If you legally and personally withdrew in 2023, why were you on social media fighting the family's dismissal notice and insisting you were still MNK's lawyer?

You cannot claim you walked away voluntarily in 2023 while simultaneously holding onto the title, issuing press statements, and refusing to step down until Mazi Nnamdi Kanu personally had to issue a formal, written termination letter from custody on 22 July 2026.

Let it be known that in highly regulated jurisdictions like the United Kingdom, a lawyer who publicly fights over a withdrawn mandate and breaks client confidentiality on social media would be immediately stripped of their licence and face trial for professional fraud. We will not tolerate lower standards here. Any further overstepping will be met with a formal escalation to the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (LPDC).

The internet keeps receipts. Ejiofor's own social media history proves he did not willingly walk away; he held onto the position until the Supreme Leader officially cut the cord in writing. Any attempt to rewrite that history now is just a poor attempt to save face.
