A relative of mine got a brand new Hyundai Creta in his wedding.

Not demanded. Not asked. Just a gift from the bride’s family to their son in law.

The guy is already well settled. Professor in a university. Family business. Already owns an Innova Crysta.

So after 4 months, he decided to sell the Creta because it was barely being used and buy a small hatchback like Swift or WagonR for daily city driving.

The moment he started talking to dealers, his wife stopped the deal and said:

This is MY car. Papa gave it to ME. Who are you to sell it? If you want another car then buy it with your own money.

Huge argument happened.

Then the husband called his in laws.

And surprisingly, her own parents said: We gave that car to our damad ji, not our daughter. He can sell it, break it, or throw it away if he wants.

After hearing this, the husband silently handed over the keys to his wife and left for university.

Hasn’t spoken to her for the last 3 days.

Crazy how a marriage can go from wedding vows to cold war over a car in just 4 months.

Sometimes marriages don’t fail because of lack of money. They fail because ego enters before understanding.

Heart is so pained today ....

A father just wanting to be in the life of his kids. A thorough gentleman abiding by every court order for 2 years only being pushed to the edge as mother has defied 40 court orders.

Today, he had court orders to celebrate the birthday of his son. Just 2.5 hours. Bought so many gifts. Got a beautiful cake made. Carried games so that he could play with the kids. Made a video capturing beautiful memories from the times when both his kids hugged him and adored him.

Though the court said that mother should strictly comply with the order - she did not get the kids to spend time with the father. Blatant violation. 41st disregard for judicial order.

Why ? Because she knows she will get away. She knows she will give any excuse and it will be accepted. She knows she can continue alienating the kids from their father who they truly adore until they start seeing him as stranger & court will say NOTHING

This man is trained to fight battles on the border but he can do nothing to fight this enemy he married - the enemy within

The hopelessness.
The excruciating pain.
The zeal to still keep fighting.

I wonder what strength these men are made of .... A woman can cry even in front of Judges if subjected to such humiliation. But a man....he has to just swallow his pain and pretend strong because the court will declare him a weak man over just one breakdown !!!
