Please, when you talk about Israel and Palestine, talk about Lebanon as well
The death toll has now reached at least 8,948 recorded deaths and 30,638 injuries
Israel is committing genocide there too, and none of us should be silent while innocent people are being killed

Iran launches over 30 ballistic missiles against US base in largest attack in months
The attack followed CENTCOM’s release of images showing the destruction of 5 Iranian oil tankers hit by American fire.
This strike is part of the US plan for Iran’s economic suffocation, which Washington has decided to deepen, and Iran will not hesitate to respond by escalating attacks throughout the region.
As I previously reported, clashes between the Houthis and the Saudis have also erupted.
The Saudis are arming themselves for an eventual regional escalation precisely because they do not trust Trump’s plans, which are seen as far more influenced by Netanyahu than by America’s Arab allies in the region.
In recent days, Iran has begun firing missiles at US warships as intimidatory and warning fire.
The US Navy did not take this lightly, and more actions against Iranian tankers are planned. Iran announced that its new strategy is to open fire on vessels enforcing the blockade, which foreshadows an imminent escalation.
This escalation manifested today in a major attack on the US base of Al Azraq in Jordan, involving 30 to 50 Iranian ballistic missiles, which utilized cluster warheads.
At least a hundred Patriots were launched in an attempt to intercept the Iranian missiles. What does this mean? It means that in just two hours, two months of Patriot production was spent.
Furthermore, there are video confirmations that some projectiles hit their targets in Jordan.

Canada arrested Meng Wanzhou at Washington’s request and held her for nearly three years, then spent years pretending it was merely an innocent bystander in someone else’s geopolitical coercion.
Now Poilievre wants to cosplay as the victim again because Ottawa is talking to Beijing.
Relax.
China is not begging Canada to become its follower.
A country Washington itself has repeatedly humiliated, threatened economically and treated as a junior partner does not suddenly become the center of Beijing’s geopolitical universe because two governments held a defence dialogue.
Stop writing diplomacy like Canada is the reluctant heroine of some Chinese obsession.
Beijing talked to Ottawa.
That is called diplomacy.
Nobody proposed marriage.
Canada is not being “taken over.” It is discovering that being America’s abandoned sidekick is not a foreign policy.
Professor Marandi (Tehran,Iran):
- Piers, allow me to offer some advice. I'm not going to debate who is right or wrong – Russia or Ukraine – right now. That's not the point. I simply want to say that your media outlets have been misleading the public for two years, constantly claiming that Ukraine is winning. And then suddenly, it turns out that it is on the verge of collapse. Imposing false narratives ultimately becomes a disaster for yourselves – for the people of England, Europe, and America. Your endless wars, which are based on these false narratives and disinformation, create massive waves of refugees that are overwhelming your own countries. And all of this is happening because of your own actions.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸🇨🇳 Former Obama national security official Jacob Stokes urges U.S. to prepare for scenarios that could include military strikes on Chinese data centers if China nears AGI first.
AGI means Artificial General Intelligence: AI that can learn, reason, and perform any intellectual task a human can, at or beyond human level across many domains. It differs from today's narrow AI, which handles only specific jobs.
AUSSIES ASK WHY CHINA HAS MORE STRINGENT FOOD SAFETY LAWS THAN THEY DO
Australians are expressing surprise that their leaders are allowing them to eat products listed as cancer-causing in China.
Consumers down under started checking labels after China recently rejected ten shipping containers of Australian mung beans for containing excessive amounts of glyphosate.
Australians did some research—and discovered that the International Agency for Research on Cancer in 2015 classified glyphosate as “probably carcinogenic to humans.”
Former lawyer Kat A, a popular commentator, said on Sunday: “As someone who has eaten a lot of Australian mung beans I was not happy to find out China rejected them because they contained too much glyphosate. Australia’s own legal limit is five times higher than China! What are we doing?”

TAIWAN FOOD SCANDALS
The controversy is reminiscent of the food scandals in Taiwan. US meat containing ractopamine is banned in China and Europe, but Taiwan’s US-aligned leaders eased restrictions to import it.
A similar recent food scandal in Taiwan involving US-originated cooking oil caused huge protests.
.
THE PRINGLES DISPUTE
China also bans potassium bromate—which meant that food exporters had to withdraw ships of Pringles from the giant Asian nation. That particular dangerous chemical is still allowed in the US—although one state, California, has warned food companies that it will be banned from the first day of January, 2027.
Moral of the story: don’t assume that Western foods are safe and Asian ones dangerous. To be honest, they’re probably all dangerous!
.
.
This is such a great point, if China or Russia posted a similar image to this, the collective West would absolutely lose their minds and probably use it as evidence to start a war of aggression stating that both countries are a “national security threat”.
Meanwhile the President of the United States posts AI slop videos and images every day of his presidency that just embarrass all US citizens and lower the US reputation on the world stage.
It’s remarkable how stupid and an unqualified this administration continues to act 🤦🏻♂️

The West needs to get used to the Chinese people looking them straight in the eye. Because that—eye to eye, on equal ground—is how people should see each other.
Huawei may be one of the strangest corporate survival stories in modern tech.
It lost access to advanced U.S. chips.
It was cut off from Google’s Android services.
For 3 years, its flagship phones were effectively pushed back to 4G.
And yet Chinese consumers kept buying them.
Now Huawei is back with a new trifold flagship, a new Kirin 9050 Pro, HarmonyOS 7, and a chip architecture built around its own Tau Scaling Law.
Its answer to sanctions was not surrender.
It was:
No advanced chip access? Build around it.
No Google? Build an operating system.
No easy path to cutting-edge lithography? Rework architecture, signal paths and transistor density.
In the first half of 2026, Huawei overtook Apple to reclaim the #1 position in China’s smartphone market.
It spent 121.4 billion yuan on R&D — nearly 26% of its revenue.
And after all that, Huawei is not competing as a cheap Chinese alternative.
Its Mate XT 2 starts at 19,999 yuan.
That is more expensive than plenty of iPhones.
Huawei’s real achievement is not simply that it survived U.S. sanctions.
It survived long enough to turn sanctions into a technology roadmap.
Every restriction basically became another item on the list:
“This, too, must be built ourselves.”
