I heard rumours about prisoners' release today & apparently it's MAL's bday. These rumours mean families waiting outside prisons hoping to reunite with loved ones. These pp shouldn't have been arrested in the 1st place & being used as a token for PR or bday is just unacceptable.
Female detainees are sexually assaulted & treated with such brutal behaviour to shame & degrade them. The Burmese military has been using these tactics particularly against ethnic women for many years & they continue to do so with impunity.
