He has repeatedly challenged Nigerians to go and verify his record as a former Governor and his involvement in various businesses. A man who, to date, has no criminal conviction and no known case against him with the EFCC.

A man who has presented himself as straightforward, truthful, and determined to put an end to the rascality and disorder that have become too common in Nigeria. Nigeria has become a joke in the eyes of many around the world, and we must begin to straighten things out and make our country sane again. He has said this will be his last time contesting for the presidency. If we miss this opportunity, we may not get another chance with him. In the 2027 election, vote His Excellency Peter Obi. And most importantly, make sure you protect, guard, and defend your vote. Let’s get it right this time.

By now, Peter Obi would have toured the entire Nigeria. He won’t have started new projects for headlines & glory-seeking. He would have tried to fix most of your existing bad federal roads.

That man would have tackled corruption head-on! He would have invested the subsidy savings in SMEs, education, healthcare, & agriculture.

No one would have gone to the media & social media to lie & present falsehoods. He will sack you immediately! The Obi we know would have been talking to you directly. Presidential Media Chats would have been back on your screens.

He would have pumped the ₦15 trillion wasted on the Lagos-Calabar Coastal road into tackling your electricity challenges. He would have tackled the insecurity head-on. Obi would have visited Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, Adamawa, Niger, Benue, Plateau, Kogi, Kwara, & Oyo.

He won’t have stopped at the airport, he would have visited the epicenters. That man would have tackled the crazy food inflation with vigor.

He would have met Nigerians one-on-one & met some of your needs. Peter Obi would have listened to everybody & applied love, wisdom, & justice with equity & fairness. There would have been no nepotism & reckless embezzlement.

Institutions would have worked. Democracy would have thrived. INEC & the judiciary would have been independent. No one would have accused the judges of bias & corruption.

Disqualifying a candidate on the basis of forgery would not have been removed from your Electoral laws. No Senior Advocate would have gone on National Television to defend certificate forgery & drug trafficking charges.

Teachers, doctors, & nurses are his children. They would have been balling by now !!!

Obi would have invested subsidy savings on Nigerians, & not on Tony Elemelu, Otedola, Abdulaziz Yari & other billionaires. The empath would have been kind & loving as a father.

He won’t have replaced ambulances with campaign buses. He would have implemented the Steve Oronsaye Report. Obi would have cut down on the excessive wastages & the size of the government. He would have dismantled the Structure of Criminality & criminal enterprise.

There would be no wealth without enterprise!

There won’t have been tribal & religious bigotry & divisions, there would have been no need for that! No one would have spent more than $9 million lobbying the White House for favors.

Trump himself would have been proud to invite Obi to the White House. There won’t have been any need to designate Nigeria as a now disgraced country of particular concern.

There would be no need to wash the country’s dirty laundry on the international’s stage.

You won’t have heard fake bishops, fake certificates, fake secondary school, & other fakes. You won’t have seen Oro masquerades on the day of election. No one would have stopped you from voting for your preferred candidates at the various polling booths.

Elections would have been a festival of ideas.

Nigerians would have rejoiced on the day of INEC Results Declaration. The entire country would not have been thrown into mourning.

No one would have sent you on a fool's errand to hold your governors & Local Government Chairmen. He won’t have gone on a borrowing & reckless spending spree. There won’t have been any need to share rice, indomie, salt, meat, garri, bread, & ₦500. He would have applied the subsidy savings judiciously.

Obi would have met Nigerians on the streets. Above all, you would have seen the results.

You assess your performance by interacting with the people. So much has happened to Nigeria since Bola Tinubu & his men seized power. Nigeria has changed, & generally for the worse. Tinubu has spent 3 years hiding in a bunker. VOTE WISELY, VOTE NDC, VOTE OK!

Lokoja Judgment: An Unnecessary Serious Setback for Nigerian Democracy

Today was an exceptionally busy day. I left Lagos in the early hours for Emekuku, where I visited the School of Nursing Sciences, an institution I have consistently supported over the years. It was gratifying to inspect projects funded through my previous interventions, including the school’s computer laboratory. Such investments reaffirm my belief that education remains one of the strongest foundations for national development.

From there, I attended the 80th birthday celebration of the Emeritus Archbishop of Owerri, Most Rev. Dr Anthony Obinna, whose commitment to justice, peace, and the common good has inspired many, before proceeding to Madonna University for another engagement.

It was at Madonna University that I received the court news of the Lokoja court rulings through my brother, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

Every Nigerian committed to the country’s progress should be deeply concerned. This judgment represents another setback for our democracy and the institutions upon which our future depends.

It is regrettable that some who claim to champion democracy now appear determined to weaken the very institutions that sustain it. In doing so, they are undermining public confidence and endangering the future of millions of Nigerians.

The legislature and the judiciary are increasingly being drawn into this pattern of institutional decline. Democracy cannot thrive where institutions lose their independence and credibility.

Those who seek to weaken Nigeria’s democratic foundations will not ultimately prevail. When a similar situation recently affected the ADC, I condemned it without hesitation. I do so again today because my position has always been guided by principle.

My concern is not about who becomes President. My concern is that Nigeria works. Our politics must move beyond the quest for power and focus instead on building a united nation founded on justice, strong institutions, the rule of law, and equal opportunity. That is the Nigeria we owe ourselves and the one we must leave for future generations.

I therefore urge all well-meaning Nigerians to rise above partisan interests and defend our democracy. The survival of our institutions is inseparable from the survival of our nation. It's when we work together that a new Nigeria of our dream is made POssible. -PO
