@AlanMarkeyCov Hi Alan, so sorry to read this. I do hope there is some brighter news very soon. Please let us know if we can do anything. Thanks to you, your staff and volunteers for all that you have done for access to justice.
We can't stand by & accept violence against women & girls. Our thoughts are with the young victim of yesterday’s attack & her family, not forgetting those of the Southport murders. Acts of #VAWG are overwhelmingly committed by men & we must address this as the emergency it is.
If I can give any SLT any advice… Don’t ask a member of staff to “pop by your office for a chat” That triggers people. Please give us the context and the reason and we’ll oblige. Staff trauma is a thing…
@tdroyston@AmesTaylor_DA@RBraadshaaw@GMWRAGtweets Oh! As an erstwhile CAB employment trainer, we used to spend hours working out if we could explain discrimination through the medium of biscuits....
Our thoughts are with our immigration colleagues who we understand are being targeted in the riots. We have been told that police have advised some offices to close.
If anyone needs any books or access to the magazine please let LAG know & we will provide it free.
Stay safe x
