I'm utterly confused and disappointed that a Catholic Priest and Governor of Benue State could come out publicly and under the watch of camera and microphone to announce that there are no genocide in his state.

I weep not because of his speech, I wept because it is coming from a supposed Rev. Fr. Whom from today I will be addressing as Mr. Hyacinth Alia. He cease to be a Catholic Priest from my own personal belief (It's not subject to argument. I'm a Catholic and he won't administer any sacrament to me or my relations even after his tenure as a Governor).

Mr. Alia is a disgrace to not just the Priesthood, but to the entire Christendom.

RIP in advance to all those who spew lies and hatred to cover this genocide going on in this country.

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has weighed in on the cost of the controversial Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project that was approved by President Bola Tinubu.
Makinde, who spoke at an event in a viral video on Friday, said there was no need for the Minister of Works, David Umahi, to be “dancing around the cost” of the project.
The governor was reacting to a heated exchange that unfolded live on television between Umahi and Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni on Tuesday.
Oseni had requested the minister to analyse the cost of the project, kilometre by kilometre.

EXCLUSION OF MAZI KANU BY THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF STATE'S DECISION IS A FUNDAMENTAL FLOW AND INSENSITIVE:

Today the National council of state decided to grant clemancy amnesty, perdon etc to various categories of Nigerians both dead and Alive.

Shockingly, surprisingly, scandalously and deliberately not a single mention or reference was made about MAZI KANU.

No single member of the council from the south east made even a mute attempt to mention Kanu's case . They were all silent as if destroyed by Tinubu's thunder, lightning and political Tsunami.

For.l the avoidance of doubt Kanu is not a candidate for clemency, perdon, amnesty, pity or compassion because he is not a convict.

The council of state should have directed the Attorney General of the Federation to terminate Kanu's trial by way of Nulli prosecue.

Moreso when people who had taken arms against the state, destroyed National assets,.killed,.maimed, incapacitate both foreigners and citizens are moving around freely with armed guards, some "elected" as law makers, others occupying public offices, many more influential government contractors and consultants. Yet many have been granted different classes of national honour.

Ignoring Mazi Kanu and scheming him out with the help and support of Igbo serving Governors and influential politicians from the south east means Nigerians are not ready for peace through dialogue.

If Boko Haram killer groups, Niger delta killer network, Killer fulani militias are being perdoned, compensated ,.trained and integrated into the communities, then the release of KANU has graduated to a RIGHT not A FAVOUR.
