ACT 1:

Remember noong November 25, 2024 House hearing? After facing questions from lawmakers, she became unwell and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Fast-forward to the impeachment trial.

ACT 2:

Hirap mag-Tagalog. Suddenly, hirap daw siyang umintindi ng Tagalog. Something prosecutors found notable given how she had previously answered questions.

ACT 3:

The Memory Loss. When the prosecution asked about Davao City’s confidential funds, sabi nya repeatedly: “Hindi ko maalala.” She even cited her age when asked how hundreds of millions in confidential funds had been handled.

ACT 4:

The Miraculous Recovery. Defense lawyer starts asking questions. And, suddenly, may recollection! Prosecutor Amando Ligutan himself called attention to how she “magically” remembered details concerning the same Davao period. 🤡

Act 5:

The Emotional Scene. Today, when Senator Imee Marcos asked about her husband’s health, Acosta broke down in tears. That may of course have been completely genuin — her husband’s illness is no laughing matter.

So, I won’t say Gina Acosta is an actress.

But between the hospital episode, the language difficulty, the disappearing memory, the conveniently returning memory, and today’s emotional testimony…

The problem is, this is not a teleserye.
