@Otto1285638@ronsterd89 Because of USAID closing, it’s been proven that Elon killed hundreds of thousands of people. Many kids. And that will continue.
@charles_maddock@thekitze So many directors and creatives have final cut locked into their contracts. This is a huge lawsuit waiting to happen. Unions need to clamp the fuck down on this.
@aytoozeeusa@hearinladotcom@2024april21 They are saying that the costs to the citizens should be the same they are for the police and firefighters: free through taxes. They should allocated some of the $2.2B LAPD budget for free metro.
@micretz@RussellHFilm Pre-Covid it was one of the most affordable places to live in the area. It’s literally the influx of LA people moving there (with the lack of building housing to ‘preserve the culture’) that have driven up the prices.
@mba_fuccboi@hearinladotcom@drolkrad420 It’s not just lux housing that is being built. It is a numbers game. Austin and Minneapolis prove that more units built = lower rents. Removing the barriers to build is the key. The filtering theory is long term not short term. Lux units from 15 years ago are no longer lux.
@hearinladotcom@drolkrad420 People in upper middle class apartments move to the new luxury apartments. People from the middle class move to older upper middle class apartments. And so on. Austin and Minneapolis have proven it’s just a numbers game to lower rent and housing prices.
@user_101524 @marcelemoran They closed that loophole even in California a long time ago. You get a temp plate at the dealership immediately. But now people just buy or steal fake Texas dealer plates lol.
@Calcolis@jonathanade@DruckerDaniel@chaykak I would saw a full chef prepared coursed meal vs ordering a la carte is a better analogy. I think both should be available to the consumer.
