If the Cyber Crime Department of Manipur Police fails to take action against this channel for allegedly instigating hatred and violence through false claims that Kangpokpi, Noney, Kamjong, and Tamenglong belong exclusively to the Kacha Nagas, The Kuki-Zo people will view past and future attacks as being well-coordinated between the Manipur Government and the Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM.
Silence in the face of public calls for violence only deepens mistrust. Action must be taken against anyone who incites hatred, regardless of who they are.

The atrocities and illegal actions of the Kacha Naga terr0rists continue unabated. Hello @crpfindia, can you send your CoBRA forces to deal with them?
"Will you guys do it again (transport goods)? Who should we kill, if not people like you?" said the Kacha Naga militant
KZC must never retract their statement "KACHA NAGA" made by them recently.
Maybe we will stop using that term if KACHA NAGA said it's derogatory but only when they stop calling Kuki refugees coz that is the biggest lies they spread for a propaganda. @ukhrultimes@the_hindu@ANI

An archival document dated 17 September 1947 is the historical role of the Kuki-Zo people in the political evolution of Manipur. A distribution list of the Manipur Constitution Making Committee, indicates that several prominent Kuki-Zo leaders were directly involved in the constitutional deliberations that helped shape the state's future during the pre-merger period.
Six Kuki-Zo representatives held positions as members or advisors within the committee:
- Pu Tiankham Paite โ B.A., C.O., Member
- Pu K. Teba Kilong โ Member
- Pu Thangkhopao Kipgen โ B.A., C.O., Member
- Pu Dr. Kampu Gangte โ Advisor
- Pu Thangkhai โ Advisor
- Pu S.L. Lunneh โ President, Kuki National Assembly (K.N.A.), Advisor
The presence of these leaders in one of Manipurโs earliest constitutional bodies is cited as evidence of the longstanding political participation and institutional contribution of the Kuki-Zo community in the state's governance.
The historical record challenges narratives portraying the Kuki-Zo people as recent entrants or outsiders to Manipur. Instead, it points to the involvement of educated Kuki-Zo leaders in the constitution-making process as an indication of their established presence and role in shaping the political foundations of the state.
The archival record has since become part of a wider discussion on Manipurโs history, identity and the contributions of the Kuki-Zo community to the state's constitutional and political development.

Despite the persistent and uninformed narrative pushed by certain vested interests individuals and organisations who brand the Kuki-Zo people as "refugees" or "outsiders" history tells a very different story.
The attached archival document, dated 17 September 1947, is the distribution list of the first Manipur Constitution Making Committee. Of its members, six were Kuki-Zo, forming a significant bloc among those who helped lay the constitutional foundation of Manipur itself:
1. Pu Tiankham Paite โ B.A., C.O., Member
2. Pu K. Teba Kilong โ Member
3. Pu Thangkhopao Kipgen โ B.A., C.O., Member
4. Pu Dr. Kampu Gangte โ Advisor
5. Pu Thangkhaiโ Advisor
6. Pu S.L. Lunneh โ President, Kuki National Assembly (K.N.A.) Advisor
These were not refugees. These were sons of the soil educated leaders who sat at the very table where Manipur's constitutional future was written decades before today's manufactured controversies.
Tahchapa Lenminsang was a Village volunteer. Not insurgent.
CRPF Cobra shot him, took his body, swapped clothes.
Hide the body. Hide the truth. Canโt hide Article 21.

Manipur: Thanks for recognising the existing of Kukiland and differentiating it from Manipur/Kangleipak. However, you should know that RIMS isnโt for Manipur or Meiteis alone. Itโs set up for all Northeasterners. Bear that in mind.

Manipur CM @YKhemchandSingh promised full security for any Kuki seeking medical treatment in Imphal. Yet even critically injured civilians, attacked by NSCN-IM and the Kamson factionโincluding a footballer associated with @mohunbagansgโare unable to receive treatment peacefully๐จ

These ANSAM leaders were among the most vocal figures behind the rally held on 3 May 2023 under the ATSUM banner, which strongly opposed the Meitei demand for Scheduled Tribe (ST) status. They stood at the forefront, mobilizing crowds, delivering fiery speeches, and raising slogans against the movement. The rally became a defining moment in Manipurโs recent history, as violence erupted soon after and the state descended into a prolonged period of unrest, loss of lives, and displacement.
Today, seeing the very same leaders walk hand in hand with those they once fiercely opposed raises serious questions about political consistency, accountability, and sincerity. If dialogue and cooperation were always possible, why was such hostility encouraged in the first place? The people who suffered through the conflict deserve honest answers.
History should not be rewritten for convenience. Those who played influential roles during critical moments must acknowledge their actions and responsibilities. Political alliances may change, but the memories of the victims and the consequences of the violence remain. Shame on hypocrisy, and let accountability prevail over opportunism.
Reports indicate that some ANSAM leaders are now calling for people to gather at RIMS Hospital, Imphal, where footballer Mohun Bagan player Paogoulal Chongloi is currently undergoing treatment after sustaining injuries in the attack at Munlui-Leimakhong earlier today. ANSAM should be held accountable.
