The term Kuki does not refer to one particular tribe or sub-tribe but a combination of many tribes,sub-tribes and sub-clans.
And that's one of the beauty of it.
Together we will achieve our goal, with God as our shield and sword, we can.

The deceased was allegedly killed by security forces and later made to appear as though he was killed in a counterattack by changing his clothes. We demand truth, justice, and accountability for the innocent life lost.

CRPF/Cobra Commandos? More like Cobra Thieves.
Article 21 still lives in Kangpokpi.
Come in with guns, leave mess in individual houses & trauma.
This isn’t “combing”, this is criminal trespass. #Manipur#Kuki@India_NHRC@NHRC_INDIA@thewire_in@EastMojo@crpfindia
@Avi_yaad_nahi You need to dig deeper on your research,if you want to ,you can come and see the ground reality rather than relying on propaganda if not, just keep quiet, bro
CRPF/Cobra commandos,
Why combing operation/action only in Kuki areas?
Are you here to preserve peace or take sides? Selective actions?
For past days actions are taken only on Kukis - search operation, arrests without consent, our villages burnt.
@GPandey468@gary_kuki Ya that must be the reason why you simply bark without knowing the whole truth. When NSCN-IM & its proxies are destabilising the whole northeast & defaming our country what action has been initiated by our security forces so far?? Why r they given a free hand?
Manipur: Security operations must inspire confidence, not deepen grievances. Communities that have suffered attacks deserve protection. Why is combing ops conducted in Leilon village who face constant attack from NSCN-IM & Kamson faction while terrorists hub Konsakhul is untouched?
A very shameful act of the @crpfCoBRA personnel who r supposed to be the civilians guardian killing a young villager of Kolchung, Henglep in #FakeEncounter . As per eye witness, he was shot twice, after killed, his own clothes wer removed & dressed in an underground outfits
@Dorji152209@crpfindia@India_NHRC Let me tell u something, do you remembered all the Kuki civilians killed and villages burnt by your NSCN IM and ZUF-K before all of that? We felt that too. Did you forget what you people did? Don't act like the victims or a saint.
Tahchapa Lenminsang was a Village volunteer. Not insurgent.
CRPF Cobra shot him, took his body, swapped clothes.
Hide the body. Hide the truth. Can’t hide Article 21.
Right to Life is for all Indians.

@crpfindia@India_NHRC answer.
@mangang_lanmee@crpfindia@India_NHRC Bunker?? He was attacked inside a village. After he was shot dead , his whole clothes was swapped with camouflage army fatigue and his body was immediately taken. And where did you see him holding an AK? Your khun ngakpa are all armed with states arms,so u expect the same, right?
Manipur: Destroying livelihoods in the name of security only deepens divisions. Why were there no combing operations in Konsakhul after the shooting, yet punitive raids in Leillon Vaiphei? The public deserves answers and accountability.
Our villages attacked By Muivah Mercenaries, villagers injured, security forces took them to RIMS hospital, Meiteis and Kaccha Nagas combined denied them Treatment:Security Forces brought them to the Place we called Home,LAMKA TOWN.This will be remembered in generations to come.
KUKI INPI MANIPUR (KIM) PRESS STATEMENT | 17 June 2026
The Kuki Inpi Manipur (KIM) strongly condemns the actions of the Central Security Forces in Leilon Vaiphei and adjoining villages, where security personnel reportedly conducted extensive operations, searched houses, and subjected villagers, including women, children, students, and the elderly, to fear and intimidation.
KIM stated that these actions came immediately after the village had suffered an armed attack that left three innocent Kuki-Zo youths critically injured. Instead of protecting the victims and affected villagers, the security operation has caused further trauma and fear among civilians.
The organization questioned why innocent villagers are being subjected to military-style operations while those responsible for attacks on Kuki-Zo villages continue to operate freely. KIM maintained that the people of Leilon Vaiphei are victims of violence and should not be treated as suspects.
KIM further stated that harassment, intimidation, and collective punishment of innocent civilians cannot be justified in the name of security. The Government must ensure equal protection under the law, stop all forms of intimidation against civilians, and take concrete action against those responsible for attacks on Kuki-Zo villages.
The organization reiterated that peace cannot be achieved through fear, selective action, or double standards and called upon the authorities to ensure justice for the injured students and affected villagers.
