▪️Bhatghar (Lloyd Dam), Pune, Maharashtra: A British-era masonry gravity dam on the Yelwandi River. It reached full capacity around Aug 2–3 after heavy Western Ghats monsoon rainfall. Controlled releases into the Nira are part of its normal operation.

▪️Bhakra Dam, Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh: A massive concrete gravity dam on the Sutlej, creating Gobind Sagar and managed by BBMB. Reported slight movement under reservoir load is elastic deflection — not evidence of a dangerous crack or imminent failure.
