@PJSkinnerAuthor Probably not. Mine was published a few years ago. Pro-writing aid would have pointed to all the filler words, long-winded sentences and repetitions. I really wanted to get my red pen out.
@LucyTreloar I don't watch the news, don't read the papers. Rarely use this site. Blue Sky is less hateful. I will try to ignore Trump. It's so unbearable.
@Loriagne2 I think it's because the staff lived close by too, probably within walking distance back then. Now, staff may travel thirty miles to school. I did. Too few staff makes it impossible to open.
@snowleopardess I was born in 1949. In the 80s, I looked at my pension and thought it's not going to be much so I started to buy years back that I hadn't paid in. It was expensive. We didn't have much. We also had an endowment mortgage, so started paying that back too. It's choices.
