Sentencing for Xavier Becerra's ex-chief of staff is postponed to August, court records show.

Sean McCluskie pled guilty in case involving Becerra's stolen campaign funds. He was supposed to be sentenced tomorrow.

His attorney asked for more time, judge said ok.

Hamawy is now the prohibitive frontrunner to represent Todd Beamer’s district in the United States Congress.
