HOW TO JUDGE MEN Judge a man by the quality of the people who seek his opinions and advice. Judge a man by his effort to improve. Judge a man by the maturity of his children, the femininity of his wife and the discipline of his dog. Judge a man by the quality of his scars. Judge a man by how he responds to evidence that contradicts his beliefs. Judge a man by his reaction to greater men. Judge a man by his pain tolerance. Judge a man by how accurately he judges himself. Judge a man by how he judges failure. Judge a man by his level of self-reliance. Judge a man by his definition of “difficult.” Judge a man by how he responds to brutal honesty. Judge a man by the quality of the questions he asks. Judge a man by how readily you’d go into battle with him and how reluctant you’d be to go to war against him. Judge a man by his bookshelf. Judge a man by the quality of the people who depend on him. Judge a man by the level of his desire to be challenged. Judge a man by who he’s most eager to impress. Judge a man by how he responds to comparison. Judge a man by how he responds to chaos. Judge a man by his willingness to honor the agreements he regrets. Judge a man by his contributions to beauty, tradition and truth. Judge a man by his reaction to unexpected obstacles. Judge a man by the speed and magnitude of his growth. Judge a man by the quality of his work when he thinks nobody is watching. Judge a man by whether he seeks or avoids responsibility, accountability and competition. Judge a man by his primary motivations for health optimization and wealth accumulation. Judge a man by his ability to adapt. Judge a man by his heroes. Judge a man by his openness to experimentation, frequency of iteration and speed of adaptation. Judge a man by his impact on everyone and everything around him.
