I want everyone to put themselves in the shoes of both parties.

The husband’s parents, having invested so much in their son, wouldn't want a woman married to him for less than 10 years to inherit his property, especially if they feel she didn't sacrifice enough, might have been unfaithful, or even suspect her of involvement in his death.

The wife believes she is entitled to the man’s property as his wife, and inheriting it will ease the burden of raising the children.

Both parties are not wrong. The only way to resolve this is a mandatory DNA test on the children. If they are truly the husband’s, the property and everything needed to raise them comfortably should go to the wife, as nobody can care for those children better than their mother.
