People who consume less than 75% of the recommended daily allowance (RDA) of magnesium have a 76% increase in pancreatic cancer risk.
Higher intakes of dietary and supplemental magnesium have been consistently associated with reduced risks of both all-cause mortality and cancer-specific mortality, exhibiting a clear dose-dependent protective effect.
Magnesium is important for preventing DNA damage. As an essential cofactor for DNA repair enzymes, magnesium ensures rapid correction of damage from environmental and metabolic stressors. Low magnesium impairs these critical repairs, accelerating mutation accumulation.
Magnesium intake matters—especially for high performers. Recommended daily amounts (320 mg/day women, 420 mg/day men) often underestimate demands placed by physical exertion, training, and stress. Most individuals aren’t consuming sufficient magnesium-rich foods, particularly dark leafy greens.
Targeted supplementation can close that gap effectively.

Sunscreen ingredients like oxybenzone, octinoxate, and avobenzone are absorbed into the body with just a single application and can persist on the skin and in the bloodstream for weeks.
Additionally, there are increasing concerns regarding the potential endocrine-disrupting effects of some chemicals found in sunscreens, including homosalate, avobenzone, octinoxate, and oxybenzone, which could interfere with hormone function.
Based on current data, the FDA categorized only two sunscreen ingredients as safe and effective: zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. They don't significantly permeate the skin.
Twelve ingredients, including avobenzone, octinoxate, and oxybenzone, lack enough data to be generally recognized as safe and effective.
Until there is more data, mineral-based sunscreens are the way to go.

2 years of vigorous exercise in 50-year-olds was able to reverse the aging of their hearts by 20 years!
Effectively making the heart look more like a 30-year-old's
The power of exercise....
Astonishing, really
In a new paper in Nature, scientists looked at candidates for reversing dysregulated gene expression in Alzheimer's disease and guess what outperformed all tested drugs? Exercise.
Why isn't this front page news?
Peer reviewed studies support that each of these has distinct benefits:
Meditation: improves focus, insight.
Yoga Nidra/NSDR (Non-Sleep Deep Rest): replenishes dopamine, reduces cortisol, reduces total sleep need.
(Clinical) hypnosis: can help solve specific problems.
Bottled water was found to contain over 24,000 chemicals, including endocrine disruptors. Sixteen of the chemicals inhibited estrogen and androgen receptors up to 90%.
