I’m so tired of disabled people being left behind in almost every way. In education, economics, diversity, equity, I could go on. With society uprising, disabled people are usually the last to be helped. I can’t tell you how traumatizing it is to be abandoned.
Gutted @McDonaldsUK have removed the red pesto dippers, burger and wrap from the vegetarian options… not all vegetarians and vegans eat faux meat/beef substitutes!
Nobody tells you how bad Elvanse can impact you individually. I’m working through these issues after 3 weeks of being off my adhd medication but having an ED was not on my 2025 projections :(
Justice shouldn’t have a price tag.
Too many women face abuse & court alone. @rightsofwomen gives free legal advice - a lifeline for survivors.

Dramatising & profiting from multiple horrific cases will never sit right with me. Especially when the series over sexualises & fantasises such depraved, horrific ‘humans’. It’s re-victimising families of
victims. Maybe donate some of the proceeds to relevant charities #monster
@DRDisabilityReb On top of people justifying others using blue badge spaces & saying they should just walk & they must be fine as they’re going shopping…
@DRDisabilityReb I’m seeing it daily, even in my local community chats! How disabled people are claiming for fake disabilities so they don’t have to work, comments on how mental health illnesses are becoming made up abbreviations I.e., ADDDDHDH etc… I report but comments aren’t removed
@StripyLightCIC This is such an important question!
Just to add, if 80% of appeals are overturned after claimants are first refused PIP, does that not indicate to the gov that there’s a systemic flaw in the training of their decision makers?
At #PMQs Starmer opens by talking about the selfless dedication of unpaid carers...
Yes - so stop these awful #PIP cuts then – as many dedicated carers will lose their Carer's Allowance as a result of these immoral cuts.

This isn’t a short-term fix, it’s a systemic issue decades in the making. Yes, tackle genuine fraud. But stop scapegoating disabled people to cut costs. Start listening to those who’ve lived the consequences of broken systems.

The Welfare Bill 🧵🪡
1/4
The government’s answer to rising disability rates? Cut the welfare bill. Tighten assessments. Punish disabled people. But disability isn’t an individual failing, and it’s not always unavoidable either. Sometimes it’s the result of systemic failure.
3/4
If the aim is to reduce welfare need, look at the causes: timely diagnoses, early intervention, accessible healthcare, trauma-informed support. Because until that happens, cutting support just hurts those the system already failed.
@rightsofwomen It’s not in legislation has never been a reason to stay silent. The suffragettes, disability rights, mental health reforms, none started in law. They started with voices refusing to accept injustice. Family courts + VAWAG reform must be next. #EndPresumption#VAWAG
Psychology says when women face constant stress and uncertainty, their bodies learn to live in survival mode. They stay alert, tense and exhausted.
Always waiting for the next thing to go wrong. Even in moments of calm, their minds don't relax. It's not because they're overreacting, it's because their nervous system has forgotten what safety feels like.
@mxniiiiii It’s appalling that men are comfortable talking like this about women . The fact that they have no fear of being caught or even feel ashamed is so so so sad. Raised really badly .
