Wow, it's trending! - happened to get my first Shingles shot this morning. So far, so good. Only slightly sore arm. Used same strategy as with Covid shots and am drinking loads of water, both before and after.

Don't forget flu shot too!

Unlike the covid vax and its tracking device, this one implants a chip that will allow me to get a senior’s discount and save up to 15% at Shoppers Drug Mart in a few years.

@amethystarlight @ECMcLaughlin I agree. The shingles vaccine kicked my butt for several days. They told me when I got my original Moderna that I had to wait two weeks after Shingrix but those recommendations may have changed.

Shingles is related to stress & low immunity, so during these stressful times, the Herpes Zoster strikes. My dermatologist recommended Shingrix, I got vaccinated. My arm was sore for a day. No biggy. It’s 2 doses

@SphereMark Do it! My beau has suffered from recurring shingles for decades and it's miserable. I don't ever want to experience that.
