@SimonMuliisa@Samwyri Subsidies are helpful, but not a complete solution. Most Karimojong households are pastoralists, not commercial farmers with disposable capital to top up subsidized irrigation schemes. Individual families cannot build dams, canals, or set up irrigation schemes in this case,
@SimonMuliisa@Samwyri What we karamojongs have been begging for is government intervention in terms of sustainable measures like irrigation. We all know we can’t exchange those cattle or even the most expensive minerals for rain. I really wish we could!
@PeaceVictoria1 This ‘friend’ must be from not so far
They’re the ones who always speak like they haven’t moved/don’t know anything beyond Kampala, Mukono and Wakiso🤦🏽
@Flex_LSG@Buntu_Bokweni@AfricaFactsZone Exactly!
I mean the rest of the world only knows them as Nigerians
If they think it’s they Igbos then let them call them to order in their own country. Other than that, they Nigerians 😂
