Rape is the only crime I can think of that's 100% inexcusable. There's absolutely no reason for it ever. In any circumstance. You can murder in self defence, you can steal to help your starving family. Even doing illegal drugs can really help calm people down.
But rape doesn't help anyone except the rapisto And it just baffles me to this day the way people will excuse rape with, "Well he/she was drunk." or "What was she wearing?" or "He's a guy though, he probably enjoyed it."
it's the one crime that everyone should find inexcusable and yet it's the one that people try to justify the most often.

I saw a video of a pastor saying his wife always wanted to be a doctor and even planned to travel abroad to further her education. In the end, she never travelled, but he laughed and said,

“She’s a doctor now, just that she got her certificate in Egbeda.” And he laughed

What’s funny there, exactly? He even said, “Travel abroad while married to me? Never,” and he clearly made sure of that.

Some of you are really settling for your enemies. Having a partner who doesn’t support your growth is one of the biggest setbacks you can accept in life.

6. Boys will be boys

These are all irrelevant because at the end of the day, someone chose to assault them.

Speaking on behalf of IGAD Executive Secretary H.E. @DrWorkneh, Director of Administration and Finance Josephat Onyari in his opening remarks said ILA’s training “amplifies IGAD’s varied efforts to foster inclusivity and women empowerment, rooted in the belief that women are powerful agents of transformation and a voice for peace”. He thanked the Government of Japan for continued collaboration and making the training possible.

"We need leaders who are responsive to the needs of the people. These are the kind of leaders that the Academy endeavours to nurture." He thanked the @KSGKenya for hosting the Academy at its Mombasa campus. Dr Prisca Oluoch of @KSGKenya affirmed that Kenya School of Government is passionate about good governance, and is honoured to host ILA and give it all the support needed.
