@GWRHelp Thanks for your response. The only other question I had what what "end date" meant on the form. I put it as the initial travel date but couldn't find any other information
@GWRHelp I've just had a refund claim refused because "the ticket image you provided was not cut in half" What on earth does that mean? Am I supposed to take a pair of scissors to the tickets? That makes no sense to me! Help!
@GWRHelp Reference GWR-3306-004-068 OUT/RTN tickets were bought together as a round trip but we ended up having to drive to make it in time so couldn't use the return ticket either. Ticket office said this shouldn't be a problem. I've resubmitted my claim just now, too.

@TonyRoddUK @CopperInk Govt guidance for business from 19th is that we should strongly encourage guests to continue with social distance, masks etc. Yet they make a show of it no longer being law. Our stance is that it’s a condition of booking with us that you agree to wear a masks etc. We’ll see!

After a day spent packing orders (hooray!), and hand labelling minis (boo!), we are very much looking forward to one of these tonight.
It's almost the weekend, folks!

How lucky were Gregg & John on @MasterChefUK last night? Tom won with beautiful plates I could really imagine the flavours of but every dish put up made me want to stick a fork into the TV screen.
@TheProspect1 Looking forward to visiting again. Let’s hope that we can all slowly emerge from this last year stronger, with fresh ideas & appreciation of what life can be!
@sharemyyear@devonwoodsmoke@JeremyVineOn5@GreggAWallace@JohnTorode1 I was saying yesterday that as horrible COVID has been it’s created an unprecedented opportunity for the U.K. to move towards an outdoor cafe society. Outdoor cooking could definitely ride that wave through BBQ, street food etc. I’m optimistic!
@MrPauloneill @TonyRoddUK The Noma journal is a fascinating read. Their approach to experimentation with ingredients showcases the crossover between art and science in the kitchen. What’s great is that Rene talks as much about the failures as the breakthroughs.
Feeling sorry for Katy on #MasterChefUK Week 2. Her pasta definitely looked too thick, but to recover after her accident with the hob and still put up a good plate. Definitely a fighter. Sad to see her go.
