Colorado. My people. For the love of Pete. 🙄
Everyone's dropping 40-page voter guides. Here's mine. It fits on a sticky note. 📝
The legislature in Denver won't fix any of this. So we go AROUND them. That's what the ballot is for.
✅ YES on 81: Cops can talk to ICE. Wild that this needs a vote.
✅ YES on 82: Your gas stove, your choice. 🔥
✅ YES on 84: Last 4 of your SSN or driver's license on your mail ballot. You show ID to buy cold medicine, people.
✅ YES on 85: Ballot questions in plain English. No more lawyer-speak designed to confuse you.
✅ YES on 132: Tougher penalties for fentanyl dealers.
✅ YES on 133: Life without parole for trafficking kids. If you have to think about this one, log off.
✅ YES on 134: Girls' sports are for girls.
✅ YES on 135: Protect kids from irreversible surgeries.
✅ YES on 136: Cap the income tax at 4.4%.
❌ NO on 87: A $2.7 BILLION a year tax hike dressed up as "tax the rich." It never stays on the rich.
❌ NO on NN: Let the state keep your TABOR refund? Hard pass.
That's it. That's the guide. Eleven bubbles. Five minutes. One cup of coffee. ☕
And the amendments need 55% to pass, so "I'll get to it" doesn't cut it this year.
Ballots are in your mailbox NOW.
Help a state out, Colorado. 🏔️🇺🇸

Ezra Taft Benson: "There are some who apparently feel that the fight for freedom is separate from the Gospel. They express it in several ways, but it generally boils down to this: Just live the gospel; there's no need to get involved in trying to save freedom and the Constitution or stop communism.... Should we counsel the people, 'Just live your religion - there's no need to get involved in the fight for freedom?' No we should not, because our stand for freedom is a most basic part of our religion."
"Each day the forces of evil and the forces of good enlist new recruits. Each day we personally make many decisions showing the cause we support. The final outcome is certain---the forces of righteousness will win. But what remains to be seen is where each of us personally, now and in the future, will stand in this battle---and how tall we will stand. Will we be true to our last days and fulfill our foreordained missions?"
