@stellacreasy@Mark_A_K_W I usually support you but I think whoever thought this photo was a good idea is wrong. Some of us Labour Party members are quite sad that Starmer has been forced out and yet the PLP think it is fine to grin away. A period of contrition and respect would be far more appropriate.
Not a Labour Party member, but this is not bad in less than 2 years. Suggest Labour MPs, party members and wannabe leaders get a grip and do their stuff.
Keir Starmer prosecuted Murdoch, & took the press to Court, jailing some & closing the News of the World. What the press have done to Keir Starmer is bitter revenge .They set out to destroy him from day 1, starting with specs & suits. The same press who ignores Farge's 5 million
@ShippersUnbound@davidyelland Problem is that if any leader did that analysis and big picture stuff you and the media with its vested interest would rip them to shreds and demand resignation. Unfortunately our political system and media results in government not being able to come out with such big thinking
Exactly my thoughts. Could never see why people wanted to leave the EU when there is a malevolent Russia China and USA. Why would we want isolationism?Always felt closer to the Europeans rather than USA.
Kaja Kallas is saying out loud what many European leaders quietly understand:
A united Europe is one of the few entities on Earth large enough to resist pressure from Washington, Moscow and Beijing at the same time.
That’s exactly why extremists, oligarchs and foreign influence networks work so hard to keep Europe fragmented, paranoid and internally divided.
Empires prefer neighbors.
Not rivals.

Gary Lineker, "I actually think that 80-90% of the country just want to get on with their lives, be friendly with their neighbours" "They don't look at people of different religions, skin colours, beliefs, traits, and think badly of them"
Who agrees with Gary True words to me
People’s opinions are based on what they hear on BBC/ITV news & what they read in the papers. Unfortunately every achievement by the Labour government is downplayed and any shortcomings magnified out of all proportion and Starmer is subject to the harshest undeserved criticism.
@covrugbyblog Good write up Tim. Regarding the PA I think Barnesy does a good job. I know a few older regulars moan about the music but we need to enthuse the younger generation. Where I was sat I noticed after one of our tries some kids enjoying themselves dancing to the music. Nice to see!
Ffs why don't the political correspondents, programme hosts and the activist pollsters just get together and decide who should be prime minister and save the rest of us the bother?
