The recent cases of Karmelo Anthony and Cyrus Carmack-Belton feel like a get-back or a snapback, a backlash that has been waiting underneath the Black Lives Matter movement.

Two Black boys running a lemonade stand received an unexpected show of support after someone called 911 on them. Instead of shutting them down, Kansas City police officers and firefighters showed up to support them, helping them earn hundreds of dollars. This is what community should look like! Investing in our youth instead off discouraging their entrepreneurship. ✊🏿
See what happens when you wanna fuck everybody and everything and keep it a secret. Now two teens don't even know they dating each other as brother and sister.
this is still one of the best moments on daytime tv. imagine being fired and the real life olivia pope helped you craft an exit plan to do it on your own terms and you “quit” live on tv without telling anybody.

🚨 White man killed, mutilated, and decapitated Missing 16-year-old Black girl identified as Tiffany Bradley 25 years later
Her mutilated body was found in a Chelsea, Massachusetts parking lot in November 2000. She had been cut in half, decapitated, and her hands removed. Eugene McCollom, who killed her in his YMCA room, was already serving life. He told investigators she was being sex trafficked at the time.
DNA and genetic genealogy finally gave her family her name back. Her last phone call to family was cut short and she sounded terrified.
A teenage girl was brutally murdered and dismembered, then left unidentified for a quarter century. How many more cold cases like this are still waiting to be solved?
This young Black Queen was held against her will by a 70-year-old white man who claimed he owned the road
Meet Jakara Wilson, the Florida Kroger delivery driver who took a wrong turn in Altoona and got her van stuck in the mud. Instead of helping, Richard Fritzinger blocked her vehicle, interfered with the tow truck, and refused to let her leave.
Jakara recorded the entire ordeal and got justice: Fritzinger was arrested, convicted of felony false imprisonment, and sentenced to 2 years probation.
This case highlights the entitlement and harassment Black women too often face just trying to work. Shoutout to Jakara for staying calm and documenting everything. Black women’s safety matters! ✊🏾
