@musings_blonde I was abused as a child, but parenting still healed me b/c it gave me an opportunity to do right by my children. It helped me separate myself from my abusers, by being able to proudly say once and for all - that I'm nothing like those awful ppl.

At that stage of pregnancy where the clingy cat I love is starting to annoy the heck out of me. Just give me space, can't you sense I'm a moody mammal with child??

Ngl it would be my absolute dream to be a SAHM whose kids were able to go to a competent, safe, and truly educational school. I would spend my days homemaking, volunteering, and doing women's ministry. But alas, no such school exists by me.

@littlebayschool This is exactly what I pray for in my children's future. And why I'm so excited to have this third baby! Neither my husband or I grew up with siblings & as adults with little to no family in general, we feel that loss significantly.

@NecktieSalvage My wonderful husband gifts me a few beautiful stays in nice Airbnb's through the year. I love the solace and being in a pretty place, but I sleep horribly & always come back anxious to be in my own bed. That's when I knew I was officially old. 🫣

@the_americangrl Yeah come to think if it, I was never very attached to stuffed animals either. My kids each have one they sleep with, but I got rid of most of them and they didn't care at all. They both prefer pretend play with small dolls, magna tiles, the dollhouse, etc.
