@poetryandyarn@tecmusa I mean most of Europe is poorer than your country but it doesn't mean that the quality of life is worse, and some Slavic countries are one of the richest in Europe like Czechia or Poland so growing up there poor is not really about milking goats but rather not having a new phone
not to mention that most of it is outdated, and there are annoying drunk Brits all over our Polish cities, some of them seem to have wet dreams about moving here after fucking up their own country and their economy looking bland in comparison to ours
I don´t think ppl understand how bad the xenophobia against slavs is here in europe. We are not seen as equal...like not at all, we never really were.
Just listen to a Brit talk ab someone whos polish , like it´s so bad
@Bagandzi not to mention that most of it is outdated, and there are annoying drunk Brits all over our Polish cities, some of them seem to have wet dreams about moving here after fucking up their own country and their economy looking bland in comparison to ours
@comradepinks who cares about the UK or France? politically or economically they're struggling as fuck, their younger generation look elsewhere for culture and influence, american music and films, kpop, russian oligarchs richer than them in their cities, even their phones are made in China
@Manaphy20@MrCauli2137@Tonneta2@Patryk87837486 + I'd get at best 20m² with no furniture in it and with lots of paperwork to do, worrying if it's a safe neighborhood, while still having to spend a half of my salary on it, both sucks but in one scenario at least it doesn't look too dystopian
@Manaphy20@MrCauli2137@Tonneta2@Patryk87837486 i don't live in Germany but honestly, to me it's also about what you can get for how much, in Warsaw if I spend half of my salary on rent I can get at least 30m² and it's furnished without looking much and worrying, no sponsors, in Paris if it wasn't for the contacts +
@Hectnoki@ComunistaOpres4 you don't have to be from an elite to do it here but we both know that even our continents are different, it doesn't matter anyway
