In Österreich braucht man dazu ein selbstständiges Gewerbe. Anstellungen zum Übersetzen werden momentan weltweit abgebaut, es wird etwa geschätzt, dass fast 90 % aller Manga-/Anime-/Gameübersetzenden Freelancer sind.

Und damit wir uns als Manga-Übersetzende auch weiterhin wirklich tolle Übersetzungen, Wortspiele, und alle möglichen Puns überlegen können und danach auf unsere Werke stolz sein können, sind wir auf langfristig faire Honorare angewiesen. Das merkt ihr dann auch.
