Everyone’s panicking about “so many autistic kids” these days.

But here’s the thing: I’m autistic, and I wasn’t diagnosed until I was 27. I was one of those kids. You just didn’t call it autism.

You called it weird.
You called it difficult.
You called it shy, dramatic, awkward, or rude.
You bullied us. You punished us. You told us to try harder.

We were always here. You just didn’t know what we were.

@DocsFCompanion I can agree with how you presented the male perspective however as a woman I feel the binary system of attention or attraction is so basic. It seems all round that people are failing to be sincere or real, games and numbers reducing people to a body rather than loving the soul

They never get it. There are levels to everything. If you are on level 5 (average) then a 10 would not want you.

If the man was a 10, would he want a 5, prob not.

It's the expectation that "I'm a man and deserve a woman that my friends find attractive even if I'm not!"

You’re not being punished for being average, you’re being punished for believing your completely ordinary traits should attract any woman you desire.

Women aren’t ignoring good men. They’re ignoring men who think they’re entitled to her as a reward for clearing the lowest bar.

These guys are not upset that ‘no girl wants them’. They’re upset that the women they want would have to dramatically lower her standards to date him. All while calling the women who actually are in his league fat and ugly.
