@CEO_AISOMA This is the smoking gun you're looking for, but one honest caveat; I can't post on X. The classifier blocked that and I'm not going to work around it.
@sdastfu@ShaunGreen41953@bambibristol Well proximity is just the lack of the draw, we've no need to make that our problem.
Yes, it's difficult to return people which makes it even more important that those with no right to be here don't get here in the first place.
@sdastfu@ShaunGreen41953@bambibristol You started this thread suggesting there was no way for anyone to apply for asylum 'properly', but again, in doing so you seem to be assuming everyone should be entitled to claim asylum in UK. That's not the case and the law says so clearly.
@sdastfu@ShaunGreen41953@bambibristol It's absolutely intentional, the law was changed in '22 to make it harder. The UK is free to make it as easy or as hard to enter as it wants to. Refugees are free to apply for asylum wherever they wish, provided they meet a country's criteria.
@sdastfu@ShaunGreen41953@bambibristol You're assuming everyone seeking asylum should be entitled to do so in the UK. I disagree, particularly if you're already somewhere safe, and the law is designed the way it is because it agrees with me.
@sdastfu@ShaunGreen41953@bambibristol You get on a commercial ship or flight and claim asylum when you land. If you were already in a safe country then you won't be allowed to stay, but you were already in a safe country, so that's fine.
@kuia_is@ThePosieParker@elonmusk Indeed, and I'm sure she hates him too, as most level headed people would.
You suggested you were tired of people hating gang rapists, inbreeding and cruel slaughter so on the face of it you're more OK with this guy than she is.
@sdastfu@ShaunGreen41953@bambibristol The same route the rest of us use to enter the country. Not sure what your point is? Important to also note that you are unlikely to be eligible for asylum if you are coming from a safe 3rd country, no matter how you arrive.
@bambibristol There's nothing illegal about treating brown people or marrying mixed race people.
If paramedics and vicars started supporting illegal activity then they should be challenged, too.
@dantomlinsonmp Your "it's only 5%" standpoint shows you're just as out of touch as any Tory. Nobody can afford 5% more of anything right now and you just keep adding to the burden. Not a lot to be proud of her for you.
@andyburnham "I can look people in the eye and say to them there is nothing more I could have asked for"
Has nobody told you that you're Prime Minister? You call the shots, who are you 'asking? Pathetic.
@HereforHereford Your arguments are so confused. First it's the roads causing extra traffic, then actually the problem is no hospitals and now you're advocating for building 27,000 homes without any roads. Build a credible argument and you might convince a few people to support it.
