💔💔🥲🥲🥲💔 FIFTH NIGHT WITHOUT ELEANOR 💔🥲🥲🥲🥲💔💔

It has now been five nights since Eleanor was stolen and our hearts are breaking more with every passing hour 💔💔💔💔
Tomorrow some of the MLHR team are heading to Appleby Uk, one of the largest horse fairs. Different groups of us will be travelling across to the UK, with the first team leaving at first light. We will search every corner, every road, every field, every place we can. If Eleanor is there, we will find her.
We cannot thank the UK police, UK rescue organisations, and everyone who has reached out enough ❤️
The support has been incredible, and it is helping us keep going through what feels like our darkest days💔
The truth is that we are devastated. We haven't slept. We are exhausted, heartbroken, and terrified. Eleanor is not just an animal to us, she is family. All we want is our girl home where she belongs.
We have been incredibly fortunate that three kind hearted people have pledged an additional €1,000 reward towards Eleanor's safe return. Their generosity means more than words can ever express.
At the same time, we are facing huge costs. We are now arranging round the clock volunteer patrols, improving security, and trying to secure fencing around our perimeter to help prevent anything like this from ever happening again.
The costs are mounting rapidly while our resources are being stretched to the limit.
This nightmare has taken an enormous emotional and financial toll, but we will not stop searching…EVER 💔❤️

Other rescues couldn’t help Kubo. He was living in such a state of anxiety his loving family reached out for help.

This was Kubo’s first 36 hours at our rescue. What a lovely dog he is 🐶

We are a specialist resource in UK rescue, helping dogs who simply would never cope in a noisy kennels. Here Kubo is distracted by the other dogs and this is interrupting his learned anxiety behaviours.

We are struggling to cope with the number of animals coming into our care every day. 💔💔💔💔Dogs are arriving in need of safety, but we have simply run out of space.
Our kennels are full. Our foster homes are full. Our hearts are breaking.
The hardest part is knowing there are animals in emergency situations and having nowhere for them to go.💔💔
If you have room in your home and space in your heart, you can quite literally save a life.
We desperately need more foster homes right now.
We are in the middle of one of the worst dog welfare crises we have ever seen, and the need has never been greater.

Good people if we don't receive donations then our work just cannot go on. We have a shelter full of those undergoing treatment and permanent residents. We have dogs who have survived culling in paid fosters. We get rescue appeals from out of city where there are no vet facilities. We get urgent requests to help dogs in danger of being culled or who have been poisoned or shot. We need a new rescue van. Our fundraiser has not reached the halfway target and today we asked for funds to help a female dog who's 7 pups had been culled but not a single penny. It's getting to a point when we will have no choice but to halt all operations or reduce significantly. This of course will mean thousands of animals suffering on the streets. But it's getting to that point, as we just cannot keep begging. I can't keep begging, I'm only human with all my waking hours spent in rescue work. Sorry for the rant, but things have just piled up and I'm drowning 😪. Here is Mumsy who lost 7 pups to poison 💔
