@elonmusk@HuaweiMate6 Elon, have a lot of respect for you, but bad time to troll. Please stop.
Our SPCX shares (from our $500m investment in your Twitter takeover) are worth more than a billion.
Would appreciate if you show a little support. Thanks!
if u wanna know what crypto to hold for the next bull run, apparently all u gotta do is look at today’s reported $5.6B Binance hack
guys no wonder $ETH is Kim Jong Un’s favorite pookie
So bullish on my ETH babies😭
but jokes aside, I’d keep a very close eye on the market over the next 72 hours. wouldn’t be surprised if we get another leg down. I’m already getting ready to DCA.
this whole thing reminds me of 2022.
remember, LUNA collapsing in May wasn’t the bottom. Celsius and 3AC blew up in June, BTC flushed to around $17.6k, and then FTX happened in November and took us down to ~$15.5k.
looking back, those were some of the best accumulation opportunities of that entire cycle. but they didn’t all happen at once.
major blowups tend to cluster around periods of forced deleveraging. when institutions are scrambling for liquidity, they sell whatever they can, not necessarily what they want to. that’s when prices can temporarily disconnect from fundamentals.
now, I don’t think it’s fair to call this FTX 2.0 just yet.
FTX was fundamentally a solvency and credit contagion crisis. so far, the Binance situation appears to be a security breach, with roughly $2.4B in stablecoins reportedly frozen and Binance saying user funds are safe.
that’s encouraging, but we still don’t know the final losses or whether there are any second-order effects. frozen funds aren’t necessarily recovered funds either.
and remember, BTC was already under pressure before the hack news broke. we’ve got a hawkish Fed, weakness in tech stocks, and a market that’s still extremely sensitive to liquidity.
the hack just added another layer of uncertainty and triggered a pretty brutal long liquidation cascade.
so over the next few days, I’m watching withdrawals, any signs of contagion, whether futures leverage gets properly flushed out, and most importantly, whether real spot demand starts absorbing the selling.
a big red candle alone doesn’t mean we’ve found the bottom. I wanna see whether the forced sellers are actually running out.
I’m not interested in catching the exact bottom or levering myself into another disaster lol. just keeping dry powder and preparing to DCA in stages if we get another proper liquidity sweep.
and please, every time something blows up in crypto, people start screaming that the entire industry is finished.
we heard enough of that shit in 2022.
the industry survived, but plenty of individual companies and tokens didn’t. there’s a difference.
anyway, I’m watching closely and getting ready to buy the fear, fam. 🥒
Attention!
The Binance hacker is now dumping $PEPE, $UNI, $LINK, and other tokens on-chain for $ETH.
Please note:
The hacker still holds large amounts of the following altcoins, which could face heavy selling pressure:
217.497M $ENA ($39.51M)
7.579T $PEPE ($34.41M)
2.575M $LINK ($28.07M)
128.034K $AAVE ($15.9M)
74.56M $ARB ($11.54M)
1.938M $UNI ($12.62M)
21.852M $ONDO ($8.52M)
17.318M $WLD ($6.73M)
714.911M $FUN ($6.29M)
87.853M $ZAMA ($6.02M)
3.602M $ZRO ($5.69M)
3.382B $RSR ($5.02M)
User funds are safe!
It does look like a hack on Binance. Appreciate the quick freeze from Tether (~$971m) and Circle (~$823m).
I don't manage Binance (.com) anymore, but as a shareholder, I expect all user funds will be fully covered.
trade[XYZ] and ICE, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, are joining forces to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the United States.
In just over a year, our markets on Hyperliquid have surpassed $650 billion in volume. They provide continuous price discovery for stocks, indices, and commodities, and have become trusted reference points for retail and institutions alike when traditional markets are closed. Much of the world trades them. Until now, Americans could only watch.
We intend to change that. Subject to CFTC approval, trade[XYZ] and ICE plan to establish a new, dedicated U.S. market, with novel exchange and clearing infrastructure built on Hyperliquid. Planned contracts span equities, indices, commodities, FX, and crypto, with access through participating brokers and platforms. We’ll share more on products, eligibility, and timing as approvals progress.
ICE brings more than 25 years of experience operating regulated markets, clearing, and managing risk. trade[XYZ] brings the product development, market design, and technology behind the most liquid and robust markets on Hyperliquid.
Innovation and the protections of U.S. regulation shouldn’t be a trade-off. Together, we plan to prove it.
ICE is making a strategic investment in trade[XYZ] and joins us in building towards the future of Hyperliquid. A small group of market luminaries is joining as well, beginning with Stan Druckenmiller. For more than four decades, few investors have anticipated the great turns in markets as often as Stan. We’re proud to have him with us for the next one.
We’re building the U.S. market in parallel with our existing HIP-3 markets, which we’ll continue to expand and innovate on. We expect both to flourish. They each have a long road map ahead, from new asset classes to new ways to trade them.
To the Hyperliquid community, whether you were here before us or came because of us, thank you. You took a chance on new markets and you made them matter. You’ll forever be a part of this story.
Anything. Anytime. On ICE[XYZ].
