🚨 BREAKING: Iran Says It Is Closing the Strait of Hormuz, Citing Israel’s Attacks on Lebanon
Iran announced it is closing the Strait of Hormuz to all vessel traffic, charging the United States with openly violating the war-ending memorandum days after it was signed, according to Iran’s Fars News.
🔹 Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said the move responds to Washington’s failure to enforce the deal’s first clause and to Israel’s relentless ceasefire violations in southern Lebanon, including the killing and displacement of hundreds of thousands of people and the refusal of Israeli forces to withdraw.
🔹 The command called it “the first step” in responding to the enemy’s breach, warning that “further steps” would follow if the aggression continues, to force compliance with the agreement.
Happy Juneteenth!
Today we commemorate the day Black Americans in Galveston, Texas learned, two and a half years later, that the emancipation proclamation was signed and they were free.
Let us all reflect on their struggle, celebrate our journey so far, and recommit ourselves to the fight for true freedom for all.
Because no one is free until we’re all free.

On June 19, 1865, African American communities in Galveston, Texas, finally learned of their freedom from slavery — two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation took effect.
For 161 years, Juneteenth has been a day of remembrance for the freedom that was delayed. It is also a celebration of the joy and resilience that flourished despite that delay.
The contributions of African Americans, whose struggle for freedom shaped our nation, are immeasurable. Yet too many Black families continue to bear the brunt of an affordability crisis that has pushed them out of the neighborhoods and communities they've built.
True freedom has a tangible impact on daily life: the ability to afford housing, earn a living wage, put food on the table, support a family, and create a future for generations to come.
As we celebrate today, we must recommit ourselves to ensuring this freedom is fully realized.
Happy Juneteenth, New York City.
Just to recap:
We tore up a fine nuclear deal that put Tehran’s nuclear program in a box with strict caps, limitations and oversight (and yes, 10, 15 and 20 year sunsets), which allowed Iran to acquire more and better centrifuges and accumulate a large enrichment stockpile it wouldn’t have otherwise.
Then we complained about it despite Iran’s actions being highly predictable and predicted.
Then we bombed Iran in June 2025 to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities, only to go to war again eight months later (despite Trump telling us the program was destroyed), which the Iranians responded to by targeting Gulf energy infrastructure, shuttering the Strait of Hormuz and pushing fuel prices up 50%.
And then four months later, when it was all said and done, we ended up paying Iran via oil sanctions waivers to end the war, re-open the strait (which was already open before the war) and talk about their nuclear program again.
Our foreign policy leaders are morons. And of course nobody will be held accountable for any of it—not the “thought leaders” who sold the military option as a panacea or the officials who implemented it.
Y’all, not to be a huge nerd but for the reflecting pool you would need a minimum of about 8,000 liters of 12% hydrogen peroxide to reach the 50 parts per million concentration to kill algae…
Is this what happens when you have 0 scientists in your administration?
The President of the United States is promoting his own crypto coin at a UFC fight being held in front of the White House. That is a real sentence. What are we doing.
Trump, a billionaire, did a meme coin rug pull to his own supporters, transferring $600-700 million of wealth from the MAGA base to his already wealthy family.
Argentina's right-wing President Javier Milei did the same to his supporters, promoting the Libra crypto pump-and-dump scheme.
They don't care a bit about their supporters. They see them as stupid losers -- which, honestly, they are, if they still support these crooks.
