@AJS89 @adamfoxyourmom That’s not how deals work in the NHL. If Ottawa needs to deal him because a contract can’t be worked out the leverage is gone. If he’s locked up and happy in Ottawa sure, but if they’re forced to deal him, it’s probably Schneider, a second, and a conditional third.

@PerformancesNHL I remember NHL network doing a top 100 players segment and having McDavid at 10 before he played a single NHL game. At the time I thought it was crazy, but clearly I hadn’t seen enough highlights.
