@jdmichler For now our analysis considers only interventional trials as for these it's much clearer how to think about the concept of preregistration. But would definitely be interesting to see which kind of observational studies register and if there timing has an impact on p-hacking, too.

@jt_kerwin The trial data is publicly available and we used it in a previous publication. A preregistration would just have been cheap talk and could not have proven that we didn't see the data before setting up the analysis (unlike for experimental studies where new data is collected).
