Back on X—can't ignore AI's energy thirst anymore. Shocking STAT: Data centers could hit 945 TWh/yr by 2030. That is MORE THAN Japan's total energy consumption of 913 TWh in 2024 & enough to power 26,250 AT&T Stadiums annually! Imagine all those filled for a season's games—though it'd be fewer stadiums if the Cowboys averaged home playoffs every few years. But assuming '96 trends hold, we're stuck.
