@bexcran Funny enough this is one of the few places where the government and federal space is ahead of enterprise. Projects in this space absolutely require IPv6 along-side their IPv4 topologies to support a diverse set of interconnects within federal networks.
@bexcran As someone who works for the leading Hardware Manufacturers in Services, I can attest that we deliver IPv6 for carriers every day. Long haul, last mile and Cellular all very much depend on IPv6.
@bexcran NAT was the duck tape that held the internet together giving IPv6 the chance to prove itself and the humans time to see its value before lack of v4 space became a problem.
I look forward to a day when packets are once again ships in the night.
@Tin_Can_Toucan@lorahmoe Since there are 3-6k grains of rice in a bowl, if we're talking 1 in 1,000,000 odds sounds good to me and yes if I was hungry, I'd probably take that risk.
@Tin_Can_Toucan@lorahmoe 62M was being kind to the OP. Turns out it's only 1000 users. Again not defending the assholes, but 1000 out of 4.1B males is a rounding error.
@lady_valor_07 It wouldn’t matter what the law said. I’d gladly spend my life in prison protecting those I love. I am not asking if they’re armed… there would be no warning, except the sound of the safety disengaging. If they were willing to break in, they made the choice to meet their maker.
