@YazzLFC Oh come on. Bayern had an off night against the best team in Europe. The entire team. Lucho actually was one of the better attacking players throughout the game. He has turned up in the biggest games of the season this year.
@elonmusk Non facetious question. For a couple decades the left provided all of the support for the innovation of solar energy/renewables while the right tried to kill them before they had a chance. Do you see the right as an ally to this kind of innovation today? What changed?
@DenisonBarbs@Acyn I thought he was supposed to be educated and such. Lower interest rates= potentially more inflation so his “a half a point is nothing” is dumber than the bad question. One of the main reasons the fed raised rates was to curb inflation!
@FavianRenkel This is team who's marquee player BIT a defender TWICE when they were losing in a WC. Uruguay does not exactly have a history of exiting gracefully and this is just another example. There is a reason they dont mix fans in Latin American stadiums.
@c_alan_johnson@TimHowardGK Klinsmann was not a great coach, but they should have kept him for the youth training and recruitment structures he was trying to build.
@Safid_Deen This is not that complicated. The US should not lose to Panama even with 10 men with the talent we have. period. That was just terrible coaching and a college soccer level of tactical acumen. This Uruguay is supposed to beat us 8/10 times
@elonmusk I think it is important to understand what the program is, exactly, no? It is used to fast track children and close family members that were left behind in their home countries of Venezuela, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Cuba. At least they are vetted this way, not like the border.
@shellenberger Solar panel tech is not the problem, it is the implementation. There are circumstances where it is a great solution and others where it is not ideal (rooftop, rural use etc.) Having an agenda against a technology (fossil fuels included) is definitely not the approach though.
Today might have seen the biggest physics discovery of my lifetime. I don't think people fully grasp the implications of an ambient temperature / pressure superconductor. Here's how it could totally change our lives.
@KeithCarson It's been shown that the best thing for the environment is to just drive a used vehicle into the ground and not buy anything new until it is necessary. Same goes for anything that is so extremely energy and resource intensive to produce. They should credit used vehicles...
@elonmusk Lines up with birth control pills and abortion being legalized (late 60s and early 70's) pretty closely. Not necessarily causation, but probably related. Richer/educated people tend to have better access to those too so it strengthens your point.
@BigJoeBastardi Interesting, but what records were shattered in the 50's and 60's? Were there 70+ degree days in Maine in February in the 50's? I am curious as to how a general similarity in a pattern from 60 years ago explains the extremes we are experiencing (consistently) this decade.
